Advertising on cars given the go ahead
This is rather unfortunate after asking our friends to consider an objection on grounds of unfair competition, no formal objection was raised. We will see as a result of this more cars being flagged down and experience shows the drivers will pick up albeit illegaly. What do others think about the developement?Licensing Section wrote:No objections were raised from the Private Hire Trade, in fact the Private Hire trade were not represented at the meeting. The Stta made some objections to the fee for consent but not about the possibilty of PHV's advertising.
