A MOTORIST was cut from the wreckage of a car and taken to hospital this morning following a two car smash on the Supertram tracks in Sheffield.
The smash happened at 5.50am on Park Grange Road, Norfolk Park.
A fire service spokeswoman said one of the vehicles had overturned and the Supertram was shut down briefly while the vehicles were recovered.
She added a woman was cut from the wreckage and taken to hospital by ambulance.
Fire crews from Mansfield Road station dealt with the incident.
