Licensing Board meets today, Tue 11 Dec at 10.00am at the Town Hall* The meeting is open to the public.

Taxi fares is on the agenda.

Cabinet meets on Wed 12 Dec at 2.00pm. at the Town Hall. The meeting is open to the public.

Fare increase of 4.41% has been given subject to no objections and if so it will become effective sometime in January.

That was the Licensing Board Meeting and the more important Cabinet Meeting is to be held tomorrow (Wednesday)at 1.30. All drivers are asked to attend if the possibly can. Most want a limit but not with a proposed condition of seventy to a hundred cab licenses issued yearly. So much for discussion later.
