PHOTCARD DRIVING LICENCES

As a lot of you may be aware the start of issuing photcard driving licences came about 10 years ago in 2000 or just before, what you must be aware is please check that your photo card is not out of date as they only have a ten year lifespan, and then they expire,

If you have an expire photo card, you CAN still drive but you must update your licence within the year of it expiring, but unfortunately you cannot use and expired photo card for any identification purposes if it has expired. You will not be allowed to renew your Hackney Carriage & Private Hire drivers licence if your photo card licence has expired,

PLEASE PLEASE CEHCK YOUR LICENCES TO AVOID BEING WITHOUT A LICENCE IF YOU CANT RENEW ON TIME.
