my friend buy parts from him and cluch was rubish stoc. chek first garantee then ok but not always good parts.

xfairway1, you could always buy genuine parts with guarantee from Manchester, they are the experts of this british icon, oh by the way can I join the fog light gang.

I am so surprised you say that xfairway1, and the reason is that a lot of Sheffield garages like Highfield Motors have been known to buy directly from these people in Liverpool. They sell parts and not manufacture them so your friend can return the faulty item and get his money back.

In response to fairway1s comment about faulty clutches I have checked our records and can not find any complaints about faulty clutches.

We import our clutches direct from Japan and like all of our parts are of the highest quality. We own 100 taxis and fit all our own parts to them so we know the quality of them.

If anybody has any queries as regards quality they are very welcome to contact me direct.

You are right John never heard any complaints from anyone about you lads. This chap fairway1 comes on here only to sing praises of his union and bad mouth anyone disagreeing with them.

George Gawith (Taxis) Ltd have not been selling parts from the Station recently due to admin problems with Sheffield City Council.

Anyway thanks to the Management at Madina Mosque they will be back this week.

They can no longer operate from the station taxi rank but will be at the Madina Mosque (Wolesley Road) car park from Wednesday
9th April between 10.30am till 1.30pm.
I understand theycan take telephone orders upto 4.00pm on Tuesdays offering an extra 5% discount.
