Man hit by taxi dies in hospital
A 26-year-old man has died after he was hit by a taxi in Manchester.
Police believe the man had been lying in the road near Dean Brook Pub on St Mary's Road, Moston, moments before the accident on Saturday morning.
He was hit by a silver Skoda Octavia taxi, and was taken to North Manchester General Hospital suffering multiple injuries but later died.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Anyone with information about the collision is urged to contact police.
