Near miss round-about

Something that's been brought to my attention is the taxis being bullied by bus drivers at the new round about on Leopold Street. Very little regard is seen for the junction that the round about now forms and buses speed through without even slowing down. It may be something that this message board or STTA should take up to the council before a smash there.

I have persnally been bullied by black cabs on that roundabout. It's only black cabs that can turn around on there and any car trying to has to do a three point turn, what kind of muppet designed that thing?
Black cabs come up right close and when you get yourself stuck and need to reverse in order to straighten up, they start tooting on horn, what's that all about? Can't they see a car needs more room to turn than they do?

I'ts not always others that make mistakes, you lads need to take a look at your own driving as well.

Taxis in Sheffield have been getting bad press in Sheffield lately. As for problem in turning, it's not just cars even the Eurocabs can't turn in one go there. The signs need to be clearer for vehicles travelling towards Town Hall and maybe even a road humps on either side of roundabout to slow down the speed kings.

At least it's better than what you had to do before, so in time they'll get used to it, especially given a few near misses or maybe a hit or two.

It's not so much the buses that bother me but all taxis. We should all legally turn around at the round about and it's annoying to see some clever clogs spin round on the corner of Barkers Pool with the passengers in the following taxi complaining why their driver didn't do the same. I've had that a few times and getting p****d off with it. We do need some enforcement, and a few points on licence of the offenders should sort it out.

Sorry Aftab but it's easier to turn before the roundabout in a car than at the roundabout. Just a bad design with little room other than a black cab to turn there, so illegal it might be but you can understand why they would do it though.
Trouble with these planners is they tell others to do stuff without trying out for themselves.

The manouveres that these Black Cab vehicles can do in the right hands is absolutley amazing, no wonder they have ' hailed the world over '!!
