Age limit changed!!!

A little rumor I heard that minimum age limit of 21 for taxi drivers has been lifted. Not that ten year olds will be driving cabs but anyone who has held a full driving licence for a year can go for the taxi test. Can anyone confirm that for us?

I can confirm the news Aftab. The licensing section has confirmed the change in the rules that now there is no more condition that the driver has to be 21 before being able to drive a taxi or PH. You still need to have held a full licence for a year though, and ofcourse pass the taxi knowledge test and the driving test and prove language skills and then also CRB checks have to come back clear then you can reach the dizzy hights of taxi driving
