VERY IMPORTANT (SAD) NEWS

It is with regret that I have to inform you that one of my Licensing Officers, Mr John Kirk, passed away suddenly at work yesterday, John was only 40 years old and leaves a new wife and two little children. Obviously Staff in the section at this time will be very sensitive and are still in shock at the events.

This is a plea to visitors to the section to use some sensitivity when in attendance and to please be patient as the service to our customers may not be up to our usuall standards and you may have to wait a little longer to be served.

r i p John Kirk, sad news indeed. I wondered why office was closed early the other day. My heart goes out to John's family and friends at this testing time.

this is really sad news i only spoke to him a fortnight ago.he was a very good man thats my view and will be sadly missed.RIP JK FRIEND.

This is a message from John's wife and family. Thank you for all the very kind messages of condolence, as you can imagine we are still trying to come to terms with John's untimely death.
John's funeral is on Monday 26th April at 11am at City Road, all are welcome.
