Private Hire Specification
Further to the meeting of the Licensing Board on 10th February 2009, we have had enquiries about type of vehicles that are allowed to be licensed. The Board have now made it clear that Officers will not be able to licence ANY INSURANCE WRITE OFF'S . PLEASE CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY VEHICLES THAT IT WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
This includes Category A B C which were always unacceptable, the Board have now added Catergory D to that list. If you are unsure ask the trader or seller to give you written assurance that the vehicle has never been an insurance write off.
As we have indicated before, any questions ASK!
The licensing section is here to help.
