Doblo taxi

One of our drivers has already put a deposit down on a Fiat Doblo

The council at the moment doesn't allow this type of vehicle but many councils do. The Scotcab people offered to take the deposit and challenge the city council policy through the courts, so interesting times ahead. The Doblo is one of the ugliest things on but brand new at under £12k on the road makes economic sense, so good luck to guys in the challenge.

I can't imagin anybody willingly driving that thingy. Hope they don't pass it here.

What next as a hackney a ford mondeo, the capcity of these vehicles is (i believe) 5 but that includes someone sitting in the front seat, not for me we need strong specifications or those who have bought the GOOD vehicles will loose out, we should we go backwards on specs we need to improve not get weaker.

Good vehicle for a village service or simmilar but a large city like Sheffield needs something befitting. This is more a private hire drivers who want to also carry wheelchairs from the rear tailgate openning, but not in Hackney circuit, not now not ever! it's rubbish, and if price you mention then you should get what you pay for and at £12000 it's far too expensive for what it offers.
