A taxi driver killed in a two car crash in the Anchorsholme area of Blackpool has been named.
Martyn McVeigh, 49, from Fleetwood, was working for taxi company Ace Cabs when the accident happened at 10pm on Sunday.
The smash occurred at the junction of North Drive and Luton Road in the resort.
Emergency services attended the scene and cut him free, but he was later pronounced dead.
A post-mortem examination yesterday concluded that Mr McVeigh died from multiple injuries.
A woman arrested at the scene has been questioned by detectives on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
She has been released on police bail until Feruary 27.
