Any recommendations on Insurance at all that you may want to share?

I got my insurance from TAXI-MAN saved about 160 off the Penk quote

With penks at Chesterfield it's allways negotiable. If you go back to them with proof of a lower quote, they always seem to match it, so maybe worth staying with one you are used to dealing with but just get the best deal you can.
Aftab brother you only gave us how much the quote was lower by, but what was the actual price so that lads can compare.

I was taxi man insurance and although it were a good quote, they have gone into recievership. All business is being handled by Collingwood Insurance Services (UK) Ltd. It always pays to shop around anyway so check with as many as you can.

There's room there for a discount at renewal time John. I have a friend who was given about 220 pounds off by Penks when he got an alternative quote from somewhere else and threatened to move. Funnily enough his was about a thousand to start with.

I agree, I switched from Westmister and saved £500 with Penk.

Can Aftab or Admin not go to these people and ask if they'd give us a discount as a group from taxi forum? and if it's cheap enough we give them the business. Although I'm still happy with Penks but as John says hey money is money and better in my pocket than theirs.

It may have something to do with the fact that they were taken over by Collingwood insurance services ltd a few months ago. The phone number for them is 0191 270 4415 or 0191 270 4400 or alternatively go on their website by clicking here. and filling in a quote form. Hope that helps.

I would still think Penks are your best bet John simply for level of service, and they are always flexilble if you know what I mean.
