23 October Election and amendments

STTA has arranged meeting to finalise the election admisintration. There will be contest for the chairman of STTA. There will be no contest for the Vice chairman seat due to two years restriction as Khalid Mahmood does not qualify of the two yrs rule (his renewal was on 31st Dec, & payments made for the last three yrs but STTA does not have record, so considered new member). This rule will be amended as it requires further scrutiny.
No contest for Secretary. No contest for Treasurer either due to withdrawal of nomination of Mr Azam (voluntarily).
All other members are contesting for the committee posts.

Request is being made for the full attendence as some rules must be amended as those are unfair to be included in the constitution.

Election stays as announced and every body is requested to attend and vote.

I welcome your contribution Sattar, and indeed can't emphasise enough the importance of attending at making your vote count. This realy is something that will affect your lives and of course your livelyhood.

I would like to invite drivers to join us on here and air their concerns on-line and we can all debate the issues in a civil manner.

I didn't think you guys were interested in forums anymore. How is everybody, and is my friend English still alive and well? I can't expalin how pleasing it is to see you guys actually posting new stuff on here again, and can someone explain what brought about the change of heart?

I think that if khalid Mahmood says he had been a member for three years and made payments and how do you know that he was not using other peoples recipts. I belive if he had the proof he would have become a nomination. How can STTA lose his records which i don't understand i would like who ever made this comment to emphisis more on this
