Removing glue after taking off adverts
Often we see cabs with advetising posters removed but glue marks still showing. To remove the glue you need to understand how it can be removed. You need two types of spirits for the job.
1, White spirits
2, Methelated spirits
Mix the two in 50/50 quantity in a bottle of spray such as window cleaner sprays or "flash" etc.
The white spirits will loosen the glue and the Meths, (because it is oil based) will stop it from sticking again to the paintwork.
Spray the mixture onto the affected area, and let it take effect on the glue for a few minute, and then the glue easily comes away by rubbing with light pressure using a dry cloth. all can be washed off once all glue is removed.
